- Supermarket: Mercadona and Lidl are cheapest. Eroski and Carrefour slightly pricier

- Dining out: Menú del día from 10-15 euros, evening restaurant 20-40 euros/person
Transport
- Car: Almost essential. Petrol approx. 1.40-1.60 €/litre
- Bus (TIB): Good network from Palma, monthly pass approx. 40 euros
- Car insurance: 300-600 euros/year (fully comprehensive)
