The Mallorca property market is complex – a good agent makes a significant difference. For international buyers, an English-speaking agent is particularly valuable.

What does an agent do?

  • Property search: Access to off-market properties
  • Viewings: Organisation and accompaniment
  • Price negotiation: Local market knowledge
  • Legal support: Working with lawyers and notaries
  • After-sales: Help with renovation, rental, management

Agent fees

In Spain, the seller usually pays the commission (3-5%). As a buyer you normally pay nothing – but check each case.
